MobileMech™ is a groundbreaking device that offers a new way for amusement industry owners and operators to integrate mobile payment options into their bars and arcades without altering current payment methods. Your guests can use their AMI Play app funds to play music, pool, darts, and more!
You’ll be able to track all forms of payment in real-time, run collection reports, calculate commissions, and receive notifications all from your phone or web-based device.
What amusement devices are compatible with MobileMech™ technology and AMI Play App Payments?
MobileMech™ can be installed on any amusement device with an electronic coin mech, bill acceptor, or SliderMech™. It integrates seamlessly with your existing systems while allowing mobile payments via the AMI play app, helping you boost your revenue.
Do I need to remove my existing bill validators/coin mechs?
No, the MobileMech device works in tandem with any existing cash payment methods. It enables mobile payment and activation of the games while keeping all original hardware functionality, making it the easiest and most lightweight way to modernize your amusement devices.
How do I get paid for the mobile transactions?
The money earned during mobile play is credited to your AMI account similarly to how mobile music play is paid now.
How do customers know they have the option to pay for games through the AMI Play App?
Once a customer checks into a venue that is enabled to accept mobile app payments for their amusement devices, a banner ad will be displayed in the app, and an arcade button is displayed at the bottom of the app. In addition, an ad promoting the availability of this feature will run on the AMI jukebox and connected TVs where available. It is recommended that operators and venues create additional ads promoting this feature using AMI’s free Ad Manager tool. Additionally, all AMI operators can use the free Blast Notification feature in Co-Pilot to send monthly app notifications to their venues’ AMI Music mobile app users.
Are there promotional materials available to help with adoption at my venue?
Yes! Instructional and Promotional materials, including posters, table tents, and stickers with unique QR codes for each game are included with purchase and will ship with your MobileMech™ devices.
What reporting is available?
Real-time dashboard reporting is available via the Amusement Connect web app. It tracks all payment types, collection reports, commissions, and game performance. You can also contact us by phone at 833-727-2233 x1, or email us at sales@amusementconnect.com for questions or updates at any time.
How much do MobileMech™ devices cost?
MobileMech™ for coin and bill acceptor devices costs $35 per unit. SliderMech™ for mechanical devices costs $150 per unit.
What fees are associated with MobileMech™ products?
There is a 5% transaction fee per mobile play (just like with mobile play on the jukebox), and a $5 monthly iCloud hosting fee per MobileMech™ device.
Does the 5% transaction fee apply to all money the games earn (cash, coin, etc.)?
No, the 5% only applies to mobile play transactions made through the AMI app and primarily covers bank processing fees.
